So Ive been focusing on a lot on Scrapping, and not really forgetting about my other projects, but not really refering to them here on my blog. For example did you know I have a business website www.nomeecreations.com for my S4H Invitations and S4H Scrap Pages and Wedding Invites and well of course much more that is not even on that site. I also do photography for small events. Like ENgagement Photos, Babyshowers, Bridal Showers and so on. I am absolutely not the person to do wedding photos....Im not that good...YET! I intend to put some money in a better lens and a better camera body. I currently have the D40x Nikon body with a 28-105mm 4.5 AF Zoom Nikon lens and of course a 50mm 1.4 AF Nikon lens. I really love Nikon!
Well tonight I'll be posting a few samples of things Ive made. Especially my invites which is honestly what I love to do (next to photos). And I'll try to post some of my favorite photos. :)
more than scrapping

This was my first attempt at a digital invitation which was then printed.
It's probably my favorite next to my daughters 3rd bday ones
I printed these on the thickest cardstock I could fit in my printer. they really did look just as precious on paper as digitally. The Thank You cards, I actually printed through Snapfish.com for pick-up at Walgreens (which conveniantly is across the street from me). I just added my personalized reason for thanks in a red sharpie ultra fine point.
Then there was my first invitation that was for a friends Babyshower and meant actual clients.
On the left is the invitation I made for the couples babyshower. On the right is the cover of the booklet where the games that were played were included. I actually wanted the book to match the invitation so this is what I initially created, but the client wants what the client wants. So the animals it was.
Those were the S4H Invitations meaning the elements and paper used were from Digital Scrapbooking Kits I either was gifted, grabbed as a freebie or purchased and allowed for use as S4H.
But below are a couple of invitations I made for weddings. A Peacock inspired one and a more Sheque modern wedding type. (Im actually working on another wedding invite due in September, obviously will not show any samples until the guests have received it.
These are samples of the Peacock one. The inserts were not printed until after the photos were taken, but each one had a page for each item. Accommodations, Directions, RSVP, and Reception using the same font as that of the names on the Invitation. All of her guests adored them.
This next one was an initially a sample of the invitation for another friend, who then changed her colors for the wedding and well now the wedding is postponed. But nonetheless it left me with a sample to show off. :)
So I think my post is getting a bit too long and I dont want to bore you with the same over and over. I'll be back tomorrow to post the babyshower photos from last Sunday along with more of what I do. Including my more up to date Invitations which include photos of the person the invite is for, it looks a bit 3D. Stay tuned!!
